The Feast of the Assumption, also known as the feast of ‘Santa Maria', is celebrated every year on the 15th of August and marks the ascent into heaven by the Virgin Mary. This popular Maltese ‘festa' is the peak of the summer season of religious village feasts and is celbrated in 7 towns and villages: Għaxaq, Gudja, Ħ'Attard, Mosta, Mqabba and Qrendi in Malta, and Victoria in Gozo. It is also a public holiday.

Din l-Art Ħelwa will be organising the 'Msida Bastion Historic Cemetery & Historic Garden Night Tour' on Saturday, 8th August 2020. The guide, Paolo, will narrate interesting stories about duels, suicides and heroism, to name a few. This tour will take you on a journey back to the 1800's.

The tour will start at 21.00hrs and finish at 22.30hrs.

A single ticket can be purchased for €5 and it includes the admission fee, the guided tour, along with some refreshments.
