Heritage Malta will be celebrating EkoDalam, an event for all the family during which visitors will be able to see Għar Dalam cave and museum and at the same time find the latest information about environmental issues and take part in educational and awareness activities organised by the participating organisations which come from both governmental and non-governmental fields.

 Heritage Malta is currently undertaking a project to make Għar Dalam more eco-friendly and sustainable. The natural surroundings are also being improved. 

 Għar Dalam will be open to the public between 0900 and 1700 hrs. A Food Bar with in-house catering will be available. 

On the day, Heritage Malta will be launching a lavishly illustrated workbook providing a simple, yet comprehensive, explanation of the long drawn out formation and scientific importance of Għar Dalam and its remains, and a guided trail of the same cave, museum and gardens. This book will be distributed to children visiting the site, against a small donation.  

EkoDalam will be followed by a Bat Night at 1830 hours, a collaborative event between the Environment and Resources Authority and Heritage Malta. The event is fully booked.
