The trio will be performing a selection of sacred and spiritual works starting by Quia respexit from Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ave Maria by F. Paolo Tosti, Pie Jesu from Requiem by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Violin Concerto No.3 in G Major Opus 3 RV 310 by Antonio Vivaldi. Other pieces include The Lord’s Prayer by Albert H. Malotte, Serenade from Schwanengesang by Franz Schubert, Once upon a time in the West by Ennio Morricone, and Ave Maria by Ray Sciberras, amongst others.

Soprano Rosabelle Bianchi commenced her singing career at the early age of sixteen. Initiating her voice studies under the tuition of soprano Alice Horne at the Johann Strauss School of Music, she later proceeded to follow her studies under the supervision of mezzo-soprano Claire Massa. Presently she is being vocally coached by Soprano Juliette Bisazza Zanni. A seasoned performer, Bianchi has performed across Europe and in many venues in Malta in many distinguished performances and holds a versatile repertoire of Oratorios, German Lieder and Sacred Music.

Alex Abela started his musical journey at the age of 7 when he commenced violin lessons under the tuition of Edward Debono and has continued his studies in advanced technique and music interpretation under the tuition of James Zammit and subsequently under Marcelline Agius. He has participated in various master classes both locally and abroad, by distinguished violinists. Alex has also achieved various Diplomas including the LLCM and FLCM in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Alex has performed and contributed to the local musical scene extensively, setting up youth orchestras, performing with different orchestras and ensembles, as well as composing orchestral music.
