IN GUARDIA PARADE

Re-enactment of a Military Parade in historical costumes

The IN GUARDIA PARADE is a re-enactment of an authentic event that took place regularly inside important military fortifications in Malta and Gozo during the time of the Knights of St John. The re-enactment portrays the inspection of the garrison of the Palace by the Grand Bailiff in charge of military affairs. During the re-enactment, around 50 troops in the garrison are kitted out in their finest uniforms to perform a military drill in order to demonstrate their state of readiness in the event of a military threat. The show starts at 11.00hrs and lasts 45 minutes. Admission: Adults - €10 and Children (6 - 12 yrs) - €7
