Tarxien Temples
What did prehistoric inhabitants of the Maltese islands eat? And how do we know this? Building megalithic structures must have meant that food supplies were secure enough for persons to invest their energy in things other than basic survival.
Join us for a tour at the Tarxien Temples during which together with the curator we will discuss which food were available to prehistoric communities on the Maltese Islands and explore where they found the energy to build such megalithic structures.
